I for one am a long term user of CBD and while I can not say that it has conclusively not lead to my thyroid disease, I am inclined to think this is some usual scare tactics to undermine people taking their health into their own hands.

I notice it's says products containing. Not pure oil . Maybe some sort of reaction to being put in a food concoction . I agree with you , possibly scare tactics
It would be interesting to see the data they have to warrant the claim.
For starters, when I think of people who use CBD often people with health difficulties, there’s a good chance they are or have been taking some prescribed medication that has caused harm to the liver and thyroid.
As for pure vs not pure, I doubt the expert has studied this in any great deal.
I think the claim may be based on some correlations rather than actual data or study. Correlations are very important, but this one seems to jump to causation within our due diligence.
I would love to see more meaningful study on CBD, rather than the rubbishing of it which I half suspect is based on keeping people unwell and medications that make them worse and companies in profits and health care professionals in jobs. Think about it… say, if an IT professional created the perfect IT system for anything, they’d be out of a job!
