Thank you re: low T4 in spite of medication

I have been overwhelmed by the tsunami of advice and am very grateful for all of it.

Having read it all carefully this is the plan: To raise Levo to 100/125 mcg alternate days, leaving T3 at 10 mcg but split into 2 doses.

Test ferritin/folate, and supplement if required.

Wait. And then consider 'tweaking' T3 or upping Levo to 125 mcg daily.

Ultimately - and if it works for me - I would like to ease off T3 if possible at some future date.

I have an appointment with Dr and blood tests coming up in November, so time to monitor the effects of Levo increase and to get Dr's advice also. She very open to discussion.

If I have dropped a big clanger in the above plan - which is more than possible as I find it hard to 'compute' info at the moment - please let me know.

Once again. BIG thank you.

Sounds like a very sensible plan 🤗

You'll be a whole lot wiser just in time for your appointment 🙂

It sounds like a good compromise, and you can always tweak doses as you go along.
