High IronLow Ferritin

Hi, after my last results 2 months ago my ferritin level has dropped further regardless of the B12 suplaments (was told they are supposed to aid in converting iron to ferritin) however they have been no use. My ferritin has dropped further. Any recommendations on tests or suplaments? I live in Cyprus and good doctors are hard to find.

What are your thyroid results

Does this mean i should start taking iron supplements? My last thyroid results were 2 months agon i haven't had recent labs yet. Supposed to have them done next month alongside some vitamin tests. At the moment i am suplamenting b12 and taking 100 mg of levo.

Methylcobalamin can help some people. But methylfolate is the really important one - and avoid folic acid.

Another possibility is that your iron results aren't the result of an MTHFR gene problem.

Hi, thanks i had a quick look. I will try it. Well i will try anything. Im fed up of the palpitations and wiered heart beats. They are worrying.
