Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Is this how you did your test

Looking at previous post

You have Hashimoto’s

What vitamin supplements are you taking

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels last tested

You might want to give it a full 3 months to stabilise, or bring your dose to around 85mcg ish a day after coming off your current dose for a few days to a week if you feel like you are having any hyper symptoms. But, that T4 is very over range.

It might be worth waiting for other admins to help with your next steps.

I really don’t understand the results for myself. I’ve listed mine on this forum and then discussed with my GP and I feel I’m going around in circles. I was on 100 mg for years then last year reduced to 75. The symptoms I have had over the past 2 years, apparently, are border hypo and hyper after years of being under active. I bow down to those on the forum who I believe may help you. I’m just going with the flow. Sorry snd hood luck 🙂

Unfortunately, doctors are trained to believe that keeping thyroid function at optimum levels is quite a simple process, which couldn't be further from the truth and add in autoimmunity to the equation and it makes the whole process even more complicated. As your results suggest you MAY!!! be over medicated on 100mcg, it might be worth trying to take 100mcg one day and 75mcg the next, this will give an overall dose of 87.5mcg which might be better for you. I know it means using lots of different tablets but it might be worth it if it makes you feel much better in your self.
