If that’s an FT4 is likely to be over range by most lab ranges we see, but you haven’t added lab range, so we can interpret accurately.

You also need FT3 tested, if Doctor can’t / won’t. Look at private options.

Was test taken as recommended? Timings and gap of medication, stopping biotin?

I'd suggest that you get yourself a private blood test so that you can see whats happening with your FT3 the active hormone. It may well be low even though your FT4 is high.

You had a lot of advice in this post a year ago. Have you managed to do anything suggested?

Strongly recommend you get GP to retest vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin levels - these need testing at least annually

Are you still prescribed iron supplements

Just testing TSH and Ft4 is inadequate

all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
