Drop in FT4 and FT3 but no change in meds.... confused!

Evening everyone, its been a while since I've been on here. Hope everyone is well? I have an appointment next week with my Endo and as he always does he sends me for bloods a few weeks before, for some reason this time they forgot to do the FT3 and he wanted to check my morning cortisol too, so he sent me back for new bloods. Annoyingly, I can't find the printout with the first lot of results on, which typically had my folate and ferritin on, but I do have the results from the recent ones and these are what's giving me pause for concern.

Both my FT3 and my FT4 have dropped quite a bit, with my FT4 dropping completely out of range and my FT3 right to the bottom of the range. Even though I haven't changed my dosage in god knows how long.

Just to clarify too that all our usual protocols were followed before the bloods, they were a little later than I'd have liked in that they were taken at 10.05am but they were running behind so I was a good 45 mins late being called in! How they can get so far behind first thing in the morning is beyond me but hey ho, it is what it is! I've attached my bloods, and as soon as I can I'll get a new print out of the bloods I had done first, and will post them. Being as I'm in Wales, that will be Monday morning now as we don't have access like GP surgeries in England (no idea why that is as it's all the same systems!) Unless I miraculously find the missing printouts that I've clearly put too safely away!

I don't understand why my FT3 and FT4 have dropped so much, my cortisol (to me) is also quite low considering I'm on 5mg Prednisolone and 5mg Hydrocortisone, which is the ONLY meds that I HAVE to take before my bloods are taken. I'm not allowed to miss them, learnt the hard way when I was first diagnosed and had to have bloods done, cortisol being one of them. I wasn't told that my HC was one med I wasn't allowed to skip for a test as you would b vitamins, levo or lio! It was a painful lesson waking up in intensive care when my cortisol came back as <27nmol/L when it should be well over 450nmol/L for a normal person! I was thinking that it would've been higher than 462nmol/L what with it being withing a couple of hours of me taking my steroids? HC has a half life of 4-6 hrs and the Pred is slow release and is more like 8-10hrs I believe (not 100% so please don't quote me on that one!)

If anyone has any thoughts, I'm more than happy to hear them and I thank you all in advance 😊

Are you still on same brand levothyroxine and T3

Results suggest you need dose increase.

Anything else changed…..eg different vitamin supplements or started or stopped GF or Dairy Free diet

It can go like that. I had the opposite recently, my levels were higher even though I had done nothing different. I have no thyroid so no hashis flair.
