As I have a compromised digestive system at the moment and can't take capsules/tablets, I contacted The Natural Choice about taking Metavive some other way.

They said to open the capsule and mix into a glass of fruit juice. Simple!

I thought this might help quite a lot of people.

topaz1 , as I also cannot take capsules, I take my NDT from Roseway Labs this way. Am just about to have a blood test, but feel all is well with blood levels when it is taken this way. My body certainly feels better for doing this. Thanks for passing on this tip for others. I am just endorsing what you do. I wonder if it means that we can take other drugs this way too?

Glad to hear that this way works well for you. I shall start when I get some fruit juice next week. I thought it was a useful tip to pass on. I always consult the manufacturer with queries like this to get the best advice.

I just empty the capsule straight into my mouth and chase with water

I did this (emptied capsule straight into mouth then drank water) with Thyro-Gold without any problems. Having it with fruit juice is to disguise the taste.

Interesting, considering medication shouldn't be taken with any juice that is high in vit c...so orange, cranberry etc, because it effects absorption levels.

Vit c is one of the few things that has been shown to increase levo absorption . pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/246...

interesting, considering how it can be quite negative with other medications.
