Regenerus - Adrenal Function Saliva Test

Hi,

I have had a saliva test last year with Medichecks and want to have another one. Looking on healthunlocked I thought I would use Regenerus this time as it includes DHEA testing. Just a couple of questions...does anyone prefer Regenerus over Medichecks? ...and is there any promotional discount I can use for Regenerus eg. thyroid uk?

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated...thanks.

I always use Regenerus. Testing DHEA alongside cortisol is important as it helps with determining stages of adrenal fatigue. In the initial stage, both cortisol and DHEA will be high, the more we struggle to produce stress hormones then DHEA will lower, and more advanced adrenal fatigue then cortisol will lower too. [My simple explantation, more info out there to research if you want to.]

There are no discounts for Regenerus, but if you mention ThyroidUK they will get a donation for every test ordered.

Another benefit of the Regenerus adrenal saliva test is that it gives actual results for all four samples and their reference ranges don't include zero.

Telling someone their result is < 1.5 is not helpful. We want actual numbers.

Telling someone that the reference range for cortisol in a saliva sample is < 1.5 (for example) is also stupid. The range includes zero. I don't believe that having zero cortisol can be healthy for anyone except a corpse.

The reason that some companies give these types of unhelpful results and ranges is because their test machines can't measure tiny amounts of cortisol. This really isn't helpful when it comes to patients.

Hi Annie i’m just about to order a regenerus hormone panel and cortisol test. as i paid £75 for one from thriva then realised i could get progesterone , dhea and cortisol etc done by regenerus instead for only slightly more money. can i ask how you found the test/report they supplied? thank you

Hello,

No worries, I found regenerus very good. They send testing over to USA...but report very detailed as it shows DHEA too. I would use them for myself for any future testing.

did you need a practitioner to order them or could you order as an individual , i know their tests differ like that

No worries, you order tests from Regenerus. Once you have done your samples you return back to Regenerus and they send them on to the Labrix laboratory in the US.

If you go onto Thyroid UK website under private tests and look for Regenerus it will give you more information.
