Am I right in thinking that I am overmedicated (taking Levothyroxine 75/100 alternate days) with these results. Although I realise T3 at the lower end? Does this indicate that I may need T3 meds and of course T4 at the upper end so a little confused to be honest?
I am also losing weight is this normal if you’re over medicated?
Look forward to hearing from anyone who can shed any light on this and thank you in advance.

* Last dose of Levo 24 hours before the test to avoid false high or false low FT4 result
* No biotin, B Complex or any supplement containing biotin for 3-7 days before test
If you did the test as advised then no, you're not overmedicated. Your TSH is in range, your FT4 is 71% through range and your FT3 is 10.81% through range.
Your conversion is poor.
How are your key nutrients - Vit D, B12, Folate, Ferritin? These need to be optimal for good conversion to take place. If you've not had them tested recently then it's suggested that you do. You should not consider T3 unless any low nutrient levels have been addressed.

People can lose weight with hypERthyroidism or possibly if they're overmedicated. You are not overmedicated.
Pebbles I lose weight when I am undermedicated hypo so it is possible!.Your ft3 is low compared to your ft4 suggesting poor conversion. You are not overmedicated.
If these results are typical for you they would suggest that a trial of adding t3 liothyronine might be of benefit.
Hi thanks for the advice I know that Ferritin was low and have been advised to take Spatone by GP. I have only been taking it 2 weeks and feel great not as anxious or tired so it’s got to be helping. No I’m not gluten free private GP said not necessary although I know you think it’s worth it. I’m not veggie but not a big meat eater. Eat a pretty healthy diet, lots of fruit, veg and pulses.
poor gut function when hypothyroid/on levothyroxine results in low stomach acid, poor nutrient absorption and low vitamin levels …..regardless of how good your diet is
This is interesting because I have noticed that many patients with Hashimoto’s disease and hypothyroidism, start to feel worse when their ferritin drops below 80 and usually there is hair loss when it drops below 50.
