I'm assuming this has to do with Hashimotos, but wanted to see if any of you had similar experience.
Randomly I'll get this creepy crawly sensation on the side of my head (typically one side, but can be both) above the ears near the temple. It feels almost like a slow wave or fingers going across and it feels like hairs are standing up when it happens (but you can't see anything like that).
I can't find any triggers, time of day, food, etc., to explain it. Regular labs look normal. My TSH is elevated now (above 4), but don't know if that's related.
Thank you for any insight if you've had this as well! It doesn't hurt but is distracting.

hey, I used to get this and when I researched it I found it is a symptom of low cortisol. It used to feel like a little spider crawling across my face?
This is absolutely fascinating and a perfectly timed post! I had a terrible night's sleep last night, partly due to the creepy crawly on my face and skin feeling (legs were involved as well as the temples last night). Will be piggyback-liking people's responses to you!
