Hi lovely people just got my results back from my Endo and he’s happy with these results after I lowered my Thyroxine 2 days a week to 75mcg and 100mcg 5 days a week and taking 12.5 mcg T3
Was previously ( T4 -22) (T3 -6.5 )
What do you think are they still a little high ? I feel ok but keen to be on the lowest possible medication. Currently taking T4 &T3 in one dose at 6am .
I am experiencing kidney area pain on right side but that’s been investigated and nothing found, I read a post about adrenal pain and wondering if it could be that because my dose is high ?

We're all different as to where we need our levels when on combo meds so only you will know. If you feel good maybe best not upset the apple cart. But if you want to try taking less then experiment. If I wanted to experiment with those results I'd reduce Levo by 12.5mcg, that would reduce FT4 and FT3 may also reduce a bit too. Don't change both Levo and T3 at once, only one at a time. And do it in very small dose changes. Leave 6-8 weeks after any change to retest and reassess.
thank you Seasidesusie I will give it a go think I’d like to be a bit lower as I'm ok but lots of joint problems and pain in my right kidney area that has been investigated and nothing found , I saw a post about adrenal gland pain and not sure if my high levels could be causing it x
Yes all done as per protocol on here, my VitaminD was 101 vitamin B and folate mid range when last tested , my ferritin is always high but my GP said not worried will do a full medichecks again in September, the only thing I’ve noticed is I’ve had a few migraines since I lowered my dose, not had one for years 🤔
