here you go, not so many baddies, i generally avoid emulsifiers like carboxymethylcellulose and polysorbate 80 etc. just the gums in this and glycerine.
I donβt usually eat this stuff on a regular basis just felt nice to have an icecream with some strawberries. π
Thanks. Think I'll stick with dairy ice cream with strawberries. Ideally, strawberries and masses of clotted cream, but that does push the dairy a bit too far!
yes I often avoid strawberries π , tend to make me ache a bit, Iβd forgotten that, we had a few from the plot which was a nice treat, trying to be seasonal. Broad beans tomorrow π
oo noooo there would be lactose and casein repercussions for meβ¦ itβs been quite a revelation after 47 years of cheese munching, butter slathering and milky cocoa guzzling, cream in saucing β¦ my insides are slowly recovering π±
I make a lovely ice cream with no nasties, just double cream whipped, a tin of condensed milk and a bit of vanilla essence and it tastes like Mr Whippy! Obviously not good for anyone who canβt eat dairy but for people trying to avoid preservatives itβs great.
