Could you add range for each test as they vary from lab to lab.

How much Levo are you on now and when did you last take it before this test?

What supplements are you taking?

Have you recently or could you ask your GP to test levels of ferritin, folate, B12 & D3? Private tests are available, see link for companies offering private blood tests & discount codes, some offer a blood draw service at an extra cost. thyroiduk.org/help-and-supp...

There is also a new company offering walk in & mail order blood tests in Crawley, Hove and Reigate areas. Check to see if there is a blood test company near you. onedaytests.com/products/ul...

Hi

They just gave me these results no idea of range

I took the test at 9am and didn’t take my usual tablet until after (100)

No other test was taken , only thyroid levels

Thyroid patients do need to take charge of their own wellbeing and care to be able to feel well.

You are legally entitled to a printed copy of your results, ask at GP reception. In England you can get the NHS app and ask for permission to see your blood results on that by asking at GP’s reception. When you have the ranges then let us know.

It's ideal if you can always get the same brand of levo at every prescription. You can do this by getting GP to write the brand you prefer in the first line of the prescription. Many people find that different brands are not interchangeable.

If GP won't test vitamins then you will need to buy a private test.

We cannot make any recommendations unless we have the right information.

Ring the surgery and ask the receptionist to arrange for you to have a print out of your results. Never accept verbal or hand written results as they can have information missing (eg reference ranges) or mistakes can be made. A print out will have the reference ranges on. In the UK we are legally entitled to our test results/ranges so there should be no problem getting a print out but the receptionist may have to get permission from the GP so it may take a day or two before you can collect your results.

Alternatively, does your surgery have online access to results? If so you can register for this.

Come back with the ranges so that we can interpret your results.
