Omg i'm such an idiot!!! After my last bloodtest it was suggested on here that i reduce my dose slightly by 12.5mcg 3 days a week. I started doing this and my dr agreed but said i would probably need to reduce further after a 6 week blood test. I've had my bloodtest this morning and only realised this morning that i haven't been reducing it by 12.5mcg but i've been reducing it by 37.5mcg!!! 🤦♀️ I've been cutting the 50mcg into quarters and just taking a quarter. I'm so annoyed with myself! I've been feeling so extremely tired the last couple of weeks where i'm not sure how i've managed to keep my eyes open, and the brain fog 🤯
What should i do now?

I'm guessing it'll be tuesday now before i get the results 🤔
They only tested TSH, T4 & T3 this time, and the nurse was only going to do TSH until i said i need T4 & T3 aswell otherwise theres no point having the bloodtest 😬
I'm still taking B complex, Iron tablet with a Vit C capsule, Vit D and magnesium everyday.
I’m still taking a B complex… does this contain biotin and if so, did you stop it for 5-7 days prior to the blood test? Biotin can interfere with the results.
Oh my goodness yes it does and no i didn't 🤦♀️ i've been on this site long enough to know this, what is wrong with me!!!🤯 this bloodtest was pointless 😂
But definitely don't talk yourself into taking a higher dose because it seems to make sense. Thyroid issues are usually best taken calmly and steadily - though obviously your reduction was sudden it doesn't mean you should over-do it to get back where you were.
This will be an extremely interesting result. I hope to heck they do check T4 and T3 as well as TSH. Please post and we await with bated breath as to your GPs comments. I wonder if your TSH has not moved after your wee mistake and they talk about reducing further. Be ready!
