Is anyone on Metavive Only

I am currently on 240 mg or grains of metavive and I am still left feeling drained. On a good day I can walk our doggies. Most of the time I am resting. I feel this is a high dose but I have no idea. I get my bloods back today or tomorrow so will be curious if I can increase my dose. I am just very curious if being on a 360 or 400 mg or grain dose is high or maybe average.

Just to clarify, it's mg for Metavive, it's NDT such as Armour that comes in grains.

So is that 3 x the 80mg Metavive ll or 3 x Metavive lV you're taking? I'm not sure what is an average amount to take (but bearing in mind that everyone is different).

How long have you been on it?

Are you sure Metavive is the right supplement for you? There is no declared hormone content in Metavive so it may not be doing anything for you. Some people do well on it and others find it doesn't help at all.

I don't currently take metavive. I have tried it in the past though.

From reading the experiences of others some people end up taking quite a lot of metavive (anything from 6 to 10 or more capsules a day)

It can end up working out expensive depending on if you need the higher dosages. And some people just don't take to it at all and end up with strange looking labs and no energy.

I hope that increasing your dose is all you need and it works for you. I found NDT to be better.

I took Metavive for several years until they changed the recipe and added ribonucleotides. The new version made me ill. It may or may not agree with you.

When I last took it I was on 5 a day of Metavive 1, which is the 40mg size so my daily total was 5 x 40mg = 200 mg (porcine). I used the 40mg size rather than the 80mg size capsules to make it easier to adjust as you can't split capsules.

Compared with mine you might find it worth increasing a little, but only raise in small amounts and allow time between raises. If you are taking the 80mg size you might also buy the 40mg size to allow you to make smaller increases - they are the same thing just different size capsules. You ask about going to 360 or 400mg doses. In my opinion raising that much is probably too much. Better to raise a small amount.

Note, Met 1 and Met 2 are both porcine, and Met 3 and Met 4 are both bovine.

I hope this helps.

I take one Metavive IV and one Metavive III a day. Metavive is the closest to Armour that I have found and my dose is similar to when I was taking Armour many years ago.
