Hi Kate, this episode was fantastic and really made me want to buy the whole set! I hope more fellow sufferers of Hashimotos get on to the diet link because this information is now freely available and when I first started looking into it 10 years ago, it wasn't that easy to come by! Wish I'd listed to the first Nutritional and Environmental Doctor I saw back in 2006!

Yes it's great, lots of really good information. I bought another series last year (Hashimotos Summit) that had amazing info too, I must see if I can find it and post too.

It took me ages to get this to continuously run but it was really worth it. I learned a lot

I'm not at the end of episode 5 yet but wanted to say how it has reaffirmed (if ever I needed it) my decision to stay grain and additives free. So very pleased I watched this episode first as I can really connect to it - thanks for posting these episodes.

Last weekend I posted 'what do I eat for breakfast?' - typically it would have been cereal, and just over a week later I cannot believe how bad my diet was in the past! And I used to think I ate pretty sensibly Ha! I am now much more creative and love things like sauerkraut (checking the labels on additives first), and have more meat, and dare I say it, more fat (good quality olive oil and coconut oil). I'd love to hope that I could be one of the 'success' cases where my antibodies are minimal, and whilst I wish I didn't have this condition, in a way it has changed my life for the better - if that makes any sense!

I seem to be okay with moderate amounts of dairy and nuts, but time will tell.

Perhaps this is asking for the moon on a stick, but if I can get my libido back, and therefore spontaneity, well that would be worth the sacrifice :)

Think we are in exactly the same place .

I drive my husband up the wall looking at labels all the time and telling him what's in things. I get that look now so I'm trying to not say anything 😳Difficult when friends come round and start to say that they aren't well or bloat etc! I go off on one and can tell he's thinking 'not again'

I thought I was ok with some dairy but I've realised this week that it definitely makes me bloat and inflame 😩 So love cheese. Found some non dairy that's ok though do that will have to do!

As for libido...

I may as well just put up a sign that says closed for business!

Getting my cortisol and antibodies checked at the mo hoping they have come down with all this effort. (I'll let you know) and then testosterone and oestrogen levels as I'm sure the answer lies there.
