Hello
I am hypothyroid, take 75 or 100mcg levothyroxine daily. I started out a couple of years ago with some vitamin tests that showed low vitamin D & low folate. I supplemented with D3/K2 & methyl folate & felt well. I would occasionally use the Better You B12 spray for good measure.
This week I switched to Thorne basic B as I read here about keeping B vitamins in balance. Just an hour or so after taking 1st tablet I noticed my urine had become bright green. NHS website indicates this is B2 (riboflavin) and I am excreting the excess as my body does not need it.
That makes me wonder about the other high doses of B vitamins in the Thorne basic B complex. Interested in any opinions. I feel well but wonder if I'm overloading the liver/kidneys with too much supplementation. I was planning on taking one capsule daily.
Thanks for any information regarding judging supplementation levels.
