Hi All just thought I would let you know what I have discovered about lactose free levo.I was unable to get Aristo on prescription from any pharmacy in my area or from the larger companies like Boots or Lloyds.In desperation I contacted the company Aristo ,they provided alternative names for the same product ,which I have finally managed to resource. The names are:
Vencamil - ref 4232757
Levothyroxine-ref-1234418
The distributor are AAH and Aliance

As Boots pharmacies and Alliance are both part of Walgreens Boots Alliance (though funny things are happening to reorganise and maybe dispose of some parts), it is utter madness that you had problems getting it from Boots.
My little local pharmacy (formerly a Lloyds branch, now independent) had no problem getting Aristo and could see it as Vencamil as well on their ordering system.
Afraid my understanding of how and why some pharmacies manage to get products, ad others don't, is woeful. It just looks like madness to outsiders.
Those PIP codes might help some pharmacies to find the products.
And looking forward to other dosages later in the year - we hope.

Yes it is much easier to request now as they've branded it 'Vencamil' 🙂
It took me some searching to find another helpful pharmacist (my previous chemist has closed) but I have and now have no issues getting Aristo 'Vencamil' from my new pharmacy.
