A sizeable proportion of members find Teva a problem. We suspect it might be due to containing mannitol (rather than lactose or other bulking agents).

My document has a chart of available products and onward links to more details.

helvella's medicines document can be found here:

helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines

helvella has created, and tries to maintain, a document containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world.

This link takes you to a page which has direct links to the document from Dropbox and Google Drive, and QR codes to make it easy to access from phones.

Is there a combo that seems to work for most people.Aristo only comes in 100s..

It is difficult as we are all different!

I suspect most find Wockhardt acceptable - but it does contain lactose.

We are hoping that, later this year, Aristo will launch their own additional doses with at least 25 and 50 microgram dosages. They are already shown as available in Ireland (and their home country, Germany).

It might be worth having a chat with your pharmacist, I was recently prescribed Aristo 50mcg... which don't exist! But rather than have that conversation with the surgery (as like Helvella says hopefully this year they will exist) Pharmacist happy to give me Aristo 100mcg to split as I didn't want Teva 😅 perhaps then take the extra 50mcg every 4 days?

Pharmacist happy that they split in half but possibly would like to split more but once you have them you can do as you feel 🙃you just have to make compliant noises whilst there 🤗

Thankyou have started the conversation with the pharmacy. But they cannot guarantee aristo all the time. It’s a local pharmacy. Will try the larger pharmacies to see if they can.

If you have it named on your prescription then they can get it in especially for you 🤗

Aristo needs to appear on the top line of the script if you have a really pedantic pharmacist.... let me go find the graphic
