I have used cymbalta for many years 60......90 and recently 120 mg...but I found them good to help with chronic pain to a degree I would think they give you an advantage to cope with chronic pain . I also found tylex helpful with pain relief. Hope this is helpful to others to cope with pain and fibromyalgia.

Cymbalta
I think maybe you’ve posted this on the wrong forum?
Cymbalta can react to thyroid medication.

I have no thyroid so totally reliant on thyroid meds. 2 years on Cymbalta and put on 2 stone rapidly
Doctors said I was over eating. BS. I was eating very little owing to other health problems. Had a myriad of “side effects” which were all the same as those of hypothyroidism.
It took months of research and a helpful pharmacist to make the thyroid links
Just weaning off it now.
I despair at lack of basic medical knowledge. Even if you have a fully functioning thyroid, it can affect thyroid hormones. The only side effect is metabolic disorder. Some people lose lots of weight; others gain.
The OP may have been in wrong forum but thank you for an opportunity to warn thyroidites about this drug
