Good evening all... at a loss here where to go forward have had 2 more rounds of blood tests since my Medicheck bloods in October (previously posted results). Sad thing that everytime I request doctor help I have to go through all symptoms and test results (new doctor every visit) after my medicheck test I showed the doctor and she was stumped and requested parathyroid blood tests the results were 'satisfactory '. Back to the doctor again (new doctor) and she was stumped again so requested more bloods now to test for cortisol. I started taking D3 &k2 and folate based on the Medichecks results (my GP did not think it was necessary). I did mention my ferritin seemed low on Medicheck bloods so was prescribed a month course.
New appointment on Thursday for the cortisol bloods. Should I ask for anything else to be tested? Iodine maybe? Almost a year going back and forth and over 7 bloods and still no the wiser... any suggestions please?
Thanks in advance ☺️

You say you are non the wiser but you have discovered you have positive anti thyroid antibodies meaning you have Hashimoto's. It can be a very long progression of the condition and it seems you are in the early stages of it so far where you are symptomatic yet your blood results remain relatively normal. A very frustrating situation as it cannot be treated yet.

GPs get no training in nutrition so do not place any importance on getting levels to optimal. As patients we know that this can make a difference to how we feel and also know it is very important.
As you have Hashi's you could trial a gluten free diet to see if that helps.
What is it that you are confused about and need answers for? Do you need a better explanation of anything?
It really is just a waiting game now to keep retesting thyroid levels every 3-4 months at around 9am, fasting and waiting until your TSH rises over range. It can take a very long time.
