Hi 🍄, I did for a couple of days and didn't notice any difference in the tightness... according to the results absorption is much the same if not a little better with Roma... I'm assuming the capsules are likely the same as the other myriad of capsules I take but I'm going to be a bit more forensic about it 🔎once I've been for a walk and put it out of my head for an hour... seem to remember the Tiromel pack has no English on it!
Back in the room... extended walk, bumped into the jolly old Berkeley Hunt 🦊filthy hounds!
Have now done a little translate and it seems Tiromel is purely L-Triiodotironin Sodium and lactose
Where as Roma, as you say gelatin shell (doesn't state pork which I'm better with) liothyronine sodium, maize starch and magnesium stearate which is used to stabilize and slow the breakdown and absorption so that it is absorbed in the bowel?? 🔎
So this would suggest Roma and Tiromel are absorbed in different areas... though both absorbed reasonably equally in my case... 🤔
I do already take magnesium stearate in the buffered Vit C which I have been using for the last 2 months and Aristo which I have been on for a while without issue 🔎
Amongst the long list of side effect for Roma it does include Angina pain though it states 'when exercising'
I don't think anyone is specifically trying to ensure absorption takes place in one spot rather than another.
I don't think there is any reason to read into lists of side effects more than that they were the ones the company chose or were compelled to include. If one PIL is more recent than another, it could have details which were not available.
I have some tiromel, i will translate & post what the leaflet says tomorrow. The bit in brackets on your pic just says 'see the usage instructions' (patient leaflet i guess). Lol.
I do remember it's GF, unlike the french cynomel which i hated lol.
İ looked it up. Helvella's translation is correct. Dang i could've sworn they used to be corn starch, now it just says 'starch'. They warn about lactose "(from cow milk)" in several places but nothing about gluten. I don't react to them though so perhaps it's still corn.
Interesting…I just didn’t feel as well on Roma. Back on Morningside Healthcare and back to normal after a few weeks. Not sure why Roma didn’t suit me🤷♀️
I'm still taking it as no other options via NHS, seems to have settled in better now I've got the timings sorted and I am addressing my low cortisol issue 🤷♀️
