Good morning need some advice just had a blood test waiting results had to ask for my iron levels to be checked, for the past 3 weeks i have had a cold but the past 4 days its really bad my body is struggling i drink a lot of water i am out of my depth here the GP has also up my thyroxine to 150 and thats when things started going down hill any advice i have spoken to the nurse when i did my bloods i have not being on that dosage for years.

What were you results when dose was increased? might be that your TSH was high as often dose increase are given when over range.  

Ask for a print out of your results with with lab ranges as you need to know if FT4 & FT3 were tested.  

We usually hear of inappropriate decreases but your levels may be better on a lower dose.  

Was the brand changed when dose altered.   Sometimes it’s the brand which causes an issue.  

It might take a few weeks for a new dose to settle & once past the initial change you do start to feel better.
