Pregnant & Hypo - why do I need a full panel?

Seeing my NHS endocrinologist tomorrow.

My latest results:

THS 0.12

T4. 18

These were the only labs they asked me to do.

I have hypothyroidism and I’m in my 2nd trimester (20 weeks). I’m on 200 levothyroxine daily.

What do you think about these results?

I would like to have a full thyroid panel done and understand I would have to pay for that privately.

But how to I advocate for myself, how do I explain to the Endocrinologist that I understand why I need a full panel? Please help!

I find it all so confusing and could really do with some help with how to stand up for myself.

Why is THS/T4/T3/Reverse T3/Antibodies needed for somebody pregnant with hypothyroidism?

Many thanks,

Jenny

Is this an NHS consultation

NHS rarely tests Ft3

And doesn’t really consider vitamin levels relevant

You don’t need reverse T3 as explained in previous post

was advised to take 150mcg instead of 100 mcg I challenged the decision and made sure I took dose at same time each day with water. I also take seaweed snacks .so far so good 100 mcg it is.
