The information below was put in a new thread. I have added it here as presumably it relates in some way to the results given above.

Contact GP for next 25mcg dose increase in levothyroxine up to 100mcg daily

Retest again in another 2 months

are you male or female

How much do you weight in kilo

Approx how old

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels last tested

thanks for advice .

I’m female , age 66 weight 7 stone 10. Last had tests done a few months ago. I’ll dig them out later.

I’m taking vit d multi b extra. Iron vit c (. All good ones )

Wonder if feeling ok if it’s long term harmful to keep taking lower dose ?

I’ll post vit levels

Do appreciate your advice

well your dose by weight is approximately correct on 75mcg

7stone 10lb = 48.9 kg

48.9kg x guidelines of 1.6mcg per kilo of your weight per day gives dose of 78.24mcg per day

= 550mcg per week

Currently you are taking 525mcg per week

Some people do require more than guidelines

Have you had cholesterol levels checked

Or HBa1c levels

What’s your resting pulse rate approx

Havnt had cholesterol or HBa1c

Done.

Got appointment with GP next week.

When I ask him to get it done what reason do I give. As we know gp s not keen to do so called 'unnecessary ' tests !!!
