Hi, I’m 60 years young active post menopause, still have hot flushes and on 75 m levothyroxine a day. Recently had my bloods done and gone from 1.0 to 2.0 and my cholesterol has gone into too high. Should I ask to increase my levothyroxine and or ask for T3 and T4 check. Thank you for any help.

I think* you're talking about your TSH now being 2? Just testing TSH is inadequate although it is a sign that you need more thyroid hormone. People here pay privately to get the FT4 and FT3 results that we need.
What were your latest ferritin, folate, B12 and D3 results? WE get low vitamin levels which mean we can't use our thryoid hormone properly.
I definitely feel better closer to 1 but even then T4/T3 is important to know, mine was just 30% through the range. Don’t settle, it really helps to take control and test yourself and dose your supplements till you feel well again. 🌱🦋🌱

75mcg levothyroxine is only one step up from starter dose
Unless extremely petite likely to be in need of dose increase in levothyroxine
See my replies to similar post just above yours
Likely need an increase but full thyroid panel will be your best guide
Are you using HRT to help balance things out... no need to suffer hot flushes?
