Hi all!
Had a quick query, and recognise the title might sound a bit bonkers! I have Hashi's, diagnosed in March, initially on thyroxine, but then moved onto NDT in September and have been generally feeling better than I was... I had a bit of a break from work for lots of reasons but started a new job today - it is working from home.
I woke quite early in anticipation (had been sleeping really well prior to this), but when I sat down to work I seemed to get all my hypo symptoms back and felt really fluey and achey all day whilst at my desk. Much better now having warmed up with an electric blanket and sitting in a a more comfy reclined position.
Just can't decide if it is the tiredness (and was colder today) or if there is something about sitting and not moving that seems to make my symptoms worse (does anyone else experience this). I seem to feel better when moving around.
Am awaiting blood results, which might be telling - currently on 2 grains of NDT a day, and on iron and Vit B12 supplements and Vit D.
May have just been a one off, but it was really quite a noticeably yucky feeling!
Just interested in experiences of others re sedentary work.
Many thanks in advance.
