Sourcing Wockhardt 25mcg levo?

Hi everyone!

Please can anyone tell me what pharmacies stock Wockhardt levothyroxine 25mcg tablets?

Do any of the online pharmacies stock it ?

Stock levels at pharmacies change daily, as does the stock at their wholesaler. Best you phone around your local chemists and ask them. Online pharmacies are far worse to deal with, believe me.

I always get mine from Boots. A couple of times they said they struggled to get it but I checked with Wockhardt that there were no problems at their end, told Boots who then sourced it for me.

Hi, did you have any luck sourcing Wockhardt in the end? My pharmacy keeps trying to give me teva and I feel awful on it. Currently on Mercury but that gives me a bad tummy. I was doing fine on Wockhardt but now my Pharmacy says they can't get it any more and I've called several others who were completely unhelpful. I have tried Boots but haven't managed to get through yet. Hope you had better luck than me!?

Hi, no i didn't really pursue it. My work around is to use my pill cutter to quarter a 100mcg Accord tablet so that I can take an extra 25mcg to make up the full dose of 125mcg per day that I need. This has worked well for me so far. I get through the tablets a little quicker but it's been ok so far.

I rang around all my local pharmacies - most say they get what they are given but the smaller independent one said "I'll get it in for you, be here by this afternoon"! I had emailed Wockhardt to see if they could tell me and they just said "ask your pharmacy to call us to direct them to the right wholesaler. If you are lucky they will", which was not hugely helpful. Did you manage to find it in the end? I'm only on day 2 of having switched from Teva but feeling better already (and optimistic this is the reason)!
