Where can i order Henning Levo in UK

hi guys , i am thinkging of using Levo from hennings , i have called numerous pharmacies and they dont stock it , can someone please tell me how to order it and from where , do you guys pay for it or you can get it from doctor prescription ?

Henning levothyroxine can be obtained by any pharmacy in the UK that cares enough to find out how.

However, it is unobtainable without a prescription, and that prescription would have to state the make. If private, the pharmacy could charge a lot. (You'll also suffer from doctors insisting on prescribing in multiples of 28 whereas Henning levothyroxine is usually in lots of 100.)

I need Henning as they are the only suppliers that make levo without lactose. My GP was perfectly happy to authorise it. However, the in-surgery dispensary couldn't get it from their suppliers. Boots were amazingly helpful in sourcing it, even arguing vehemently with their suppliers when they got difficult. Boots' view was that if the doctor has prescribed it (and it does need to be specified on the prescription, Rod is quite right), then the suppliers have no authority to question it. The issue is of course one of finance as it has to be imported from Germany on special licence. Good luck with it

Teena, simplest way is to click on the username of the poster you wish to PM and use the orange [B]Send message button top r/h of the page.

Alternatively, click on your own username in the HU green banner, select Messages and type in the username/s. Click on the username which pops up in the drop down box.
