Wockhardt levothyroxine

Hi I just read on another site anyone over the age of 50 shouldn't take Wockhardt brand of levothyroxine. Surely this can't be true. I've been taking 50/75 mcgs of this brand for 9 months as I've reacted badly to other brands

Is anyone aware of a supply issue in UK of Wockhardt Levothyroxine? I was unable to fulfil my usual prescription in England last week, and have faced the same problem attempting to get it instead in Wales this week, with only Teva or Accord offered.

Just been informed that Wockhardt costs the pharmacy an extra £1 a box, so if I want them to order it in for me I will have to pay the extra cost. The alternative is Teva which quite clearly has the thyroxine market all sewn up 😡.I am willing to pay the extra to get the brand I need however it is the

anyone else find they get constipation on Accord? Might be total coincidence but I’m now on accord and constipated - after being fine on Wockhardt.

Hi all, I've experienced a lot of hair loss over the past 6 weeks since being issued with crescent pharma 25mcg levothyroxine tablets (previously either teva or wockhardt which I've been OK on). I take 87.5mcg levo daily, so a 50mcg accord tablet, plus 1 and a half 25mcg tablets.

I have recently had my 25mcg Levothyroxine brand changed from Wockhardt to Teva and I have been getting a lot of headaches, more than usual and lightheaded and nauseous.

I have Hashimotos and am therefore on Levothyroxine. I am having trouble getting the prescribed brand, Wockhardt, from any of my local chemists and the pharmacists seem reluctant to order it in for me. Always take this particular brand as it does not contain Acacia to which I am allergic.

& it's not even about my thyroid! I had an episode of very high blood pressure on Monday 210/129 & the gp sent me to a&e - who took my bp said it was fine and sent me home with no meds and a warning not to start meds as it was probably a one off I wonder if messing about with my levothyroxine is causing
