Flu jab 5 days ago

Had our flu jabs last Saturday, and today I’ve woke up feeling rough, feels like fever but temp only 37.3, aching joints and stomach ache like constipation 😞

Anyone had this after the jab?

Many of us who are hypo have low temperatures. My ‘normal’ pre treatment temp used to be very low 35s and so before I began taking thyroid replacement, anything above 35.5 (for me) was a fever

Now that I’m almost optimally dosed my temp is consistently low - mid 36s. When I had flu earlier in the year it rose to what many euthyroid people simply call normal. If I’d been checked by a doctor s/he would have described it as normal too, simply because the thermometer said so even though I felt as though as I was burning up!

Unfortunately, basal temp and pulse rate are largely ignored these days but for me they’ve been an invaluable guide to feeling well and have really helped me navigate and fine-tune my dosage. Still not quite there but ever optimistic
