I commented recently that I had signed forms on 2 occasions at my surgery, requesting access to my test results online but with no success.
Yesterday I was waiting for a GP appt and I mentioned to the Receptionist that I was still waiting for this to be set up on my Patient Access account. She laughed, and said “oh it’s me that does that” and she changed it there and then.
Checking it last night, I now have access to pretty much my while record. Amazing - keep asking if you’re not getting what you want.

In mid September I had a pretty viscous stomach infection - at first I thought I’d be ‘ok tomorrow’ but it intensified and over BH weekend of the Queen’s funeral I became v worried. Rang surgery 8am on Tuesday morning and by 1140 that day I’d seen GP, been to local hospital and blood tests and fecal culture done. Everything came back negative except for high inflammation markers and about 4 weeks later I slowly recovered but developed a UTI / sample stick test showed nothing but lab result showed an ecoli infection . 3 day course of antibiotics and I was fine at last.
All but nutritional results good, ie, nothing below midway - so some I am improving.
BUT - for the first time ever my T3 went slightly over range ……my GP spoke to me about it and I said it’s likely to have been a blip as I’d had lost weight quickly before the test - and I’d taken my T4 and T3 together in the early hours of the morning before the blood test. She was fine about it - retesting inflammation markers next week . Thyroid retest due December .
Anyhoo, I’m still looking at all the info : why have we been kept in the dark so long ….
