Getting there slowly ....

I've been under the weather for a while - firstly intolerant to Teva T4, changed brand to one that suited me, then moved to NDT (probably too soon before giving T4 mono-therapy longer to work), found NDT was triggering chronic back spasms (boy was that not fun!), only getting 5 hrs sleep a night, so I went cold turkey on meds (back improved)....

I had intended to spend a few weeks off of meds, get TSH, T4 and T3 retested, speak to Dr. and start again with T4.... That all got put on hold went I went and caught COVID. I'm still getting over that. Hoping to test in the next 2 weeks and continue on my thyroid journey once more...

It does feel like one thing after another and that my body is rebelling 🤣

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who answered my posts and gave advice and support. And for all the nuggets I've cleaned from reading lots of posts that resonate.

It's just great knowing you're out there and that I'm not alone.

Kit_Monster,

Oooh, you've been through the mill. Hope you are recovering from COVID.

Be aware testing straight after COVID may bring about some unusual thyroid hormone results. You may even be better considering past with present results before starting thyroid meds again. Remember to get the essential FT3 tested as only adequate levels will help with your recovery and bring back well being.

Hope you feel better soon 😊

Hi Radd, thanks for your message. Really good point re COVID. I'm now negative for COVID and feeling much better ☺️

I've got some recent pre-COVID tests (TSH, FT3 and FT4), and have one from this week I'm waiting results for👍
