looking at previous posts

She needs thyroid antibodies tested, vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested too

Has she had coeliac blood test done yet

Which brand of levothyroxine is she currently taking

Teva is only brand that makes 75mcg tablets.

Teva brand upsets many people

100mcg tablets. Have more options -

Mercury Pharma or Eltroxin by Advanz

Accord, also boxed as Almus via Boots or Northstar via Lloyds

Aristo - lactose free.

Hi, again that’s all very helpful thank you. No she hasn’t had a coeliac test. She is now on teva (she was previously On accord) her skin is flaring you again and her legs have never been this bad. I will first ring gp and ask for blood tests In all that you have suggested and if they don’t play ball will send for private testing.

I had extremely achey legs prior to optimising my thyroid levels. A good B Complex also helped me; I use Thorne Basic B. I find that magnesium aids better sleep; I use Epsom salts in bath plus take a magnesium supplement early evening.

Aching joints can also be low vitamin D and/or wheat or gluten intolerance
