Well, I suggest you get the correct tests done. The total T4 and T3 give you absolutely no useful information. It's the Frees that you need done.

Having said that, your TSH indicates hypo. Is this your first thyroid test? If so, get another one done in about three months time, and see what that says. If the TSH is still over three, then you are hypo. But, I don't know if your doctor would agree...

Thank you so much for your valuable reply and yes its my first test.... Some peoples are saying that thyroid is a long term disease and it will not ruin totally..... Is that true????

If you have been diagnosed as being hypothyroid or hashimoto's. Yes both are life-long diseases and must be treated daily. That's why in the UK any other problem we develop that requires a prescription we do not pay and should fill in a form to that effect.

Yes, hypothyroidism is a life-long disease. But, I don't know what you mean by 'ruin totally'.

However, it isn't certain that you have it, yet. You need a second test in three months, to confirm the TSH, and next time you need to also get :

FT4

FT3

TPOab

TgAB

There is absolutely no point in testing Total T4 and T3, because they don't tell you anything useful.

Once you've had a proper second test, you will know more. :)

One more thing I want to know that I am not pregnant than why it is showing reference range of pregnancy interpretation??????? Please tell me what is this

I should imagine that is just a standard form. It doesn't necessarily relate to you. It's just so that someone who is pregnant, can look and see if her TSH falls in the right range. Just ignore it.

I notice that you have reference ranges for different stages of pregnancy. Are you pregnant? If you are that changes the interpretation of your results.
