can anyone advise if I can take multi vitamins when taking levothyroxine? If so what ones are recommended? vitamin D? Others?
And are probiotic tablets safe to take too?

Multivitamins aren't recommended here. This is because they tend to contain too little of anything to help low levels or deficiencies, they often contain things we should only supplement if tested and found to be deficient (Vit D, iron, calcium, iodine), and they usually use the cheapest, wrong form and least absorbable of active ingredients.
So we advise testing the key nutrients:
Vit D
B12
Folate
Ferritin
and if ferritin is low then a full iron panel to see if there is iron deficiency.
When you have results for these then post them on the forum, along with reference ranges and units of measurement for Vit D and B12, and suggestions can be made if you need to supplement.
Probiotics can be taken although there are many different types so it's best to research to find what's right for you.
I really wouldn’t take a multivitamin. Definitely test key vitamins first, post results on the forum for advice and then supplement as needed. It’s so important to test levels first; you can ask your GP or look to do so privately (as many members here do).
