How long does it take to get your medicheck thyroid blood test results? I had blood drawn last tue they received them wed i know one of tests can take a long while but ive not received any yet?

There's a tick box when purchasing to say if you want a doctor to comment on the results or not. It might be that you inadvertently asked for the doctors comments in which case it can add quite a few days to the turn around time. I wasn't aware of this the first time I took one of their tests.

I cant say wether i did or didnt tick i know they asked me lot of questions 🤦‍♀️ how long roughly did they take as ive got my appointment next mon with endrocolgist for first time please?

check online by logging into your account

Though they do normally notify you by email as soon as they have received them and again when results are available

Look out for it when ordering next time. You don't really need the comments if you're coming here with them anyway.

I had mine done on a Monday (again advised here to test early in the week) and got the results on the Friday. I also had a test included which took longer, but they release each test as it's done so that won't matter or hold the thyroid tests up. With any luck you should have them by tomorrow.

Which test did you do?

I normally have no doctor's comments and usually results are available the day after they receive the sample, on rare occasions it's been two days and sometimes even the same day they receive the sample.

Medichecks TSH Receptor test page tells you that the test results take an estimated 7 days from receipt of sample at the lab:

medichecks.com/products/tsh...

So although your Advanced Thyroid test results would be available within a couple of days of receipt of the sample, it's the antibody test that is taking the time and I expect they're waiting to send them all through at the same time.

O no its going to be touch and go i get them back by next mon for my appointment

I did the advanced thyroid test. Whilst some results failed my tsh.t4, and antibodies were back in 4 days.

Update medichecks told me the advance test takes 2 days the other 7 days. I asked why ive not received the advance apparently they are really busy with samples and will try email this afternoon the results. Still not received anything yet!
