Let down yet again - where can I get NDT?

Having at long last found an endo who promised to help it now all seems to be going wrong. Previously I have been on T3 only since Nutri discontinued their Adrenal and Thyroid products and not felt well.

He agreed I was suffering hypo symptoms, said that many people need T4 as well as T3, so prescribed 30mg ERFA. He advised reducing T3 from 37.5 to 25mcg and told me that he would write to my GP to arrange a blood test in 6 weeks time, then discuss the next step via a telephone appointment.

Unfortunately, in a letter he addressed to a different GP in my practice (who I believe has left the practice) he failed to mention any requirement for a blood test so I have not been able to arrange an appointment. I have contacted his secretary several times since but failed to arrange either the requested telephone appointment or clarification regarding the blood test. Is there any point to a telephone consultation without blood results?

My 6 weeks of NDT will run out in a couple of weeks time. I'm not happy about suddenly starting and stopping, upping and downing these hormones, it doesn't feel right.

Please can anyone tell me, (via private message only please) where to get NDT without a prescription? Is it even possible?
