Is anyone else having trouble getting liquid levothyroxine.

Pharmancies saying all out of stock or can't order it

We have seen a number of posts where members have had difficulty getting hold of these products.

I can find no published information - e.g. official shortage notices.

I think Zentiva 125 micrograms per 5 millilitres was still available but difficult to find - and you might well need a re-written prescription to get it.

Another member had a similar issue the other day. They were using some sort of iPad or Android tablet.

I suggest trying a restart of whatever device you are using. Then try again

(No - that doesn't get to the bottom of the issue. But definitely seems worth a go.)

It has happened to me lately on here. Just do not try to delete by backspace. Highlight and cut.

Yes there are supply issues at the moment. As helvella says try phoning pharmacies and see if they can get a different strength. I got 125mcgs/5ml in the end but it was a mission to get it. Good luck!

I had to have 2 x 50ml instead of 100 and that was an effort. You have to find a pharmacist who is determined to find you something as you can dose yourself with the syringe easily enough.
