My son checked into an NHS psychiatric hospital voluntarily with severe OCD intrusive thoughts 2 weeks ago. He was on Sertraline and now Prozac and neither helped. He's now on olanzapine. He was an IVF baby as nobody checked my thyroid before embarking on treatment. They only tested after he was born because i became very anxious and overwheImed. I would like to forward relevant articles that you can read.

I am very sorry to hear about your son. Is he any better now with the olanzapine?

Has he had his thyroid function tested?

I actually think I myself have pyroluria! And I definitely think our daughter is low on zinc due to some of the symptoms. And as she is a vegan, probably deficient in amino acids as well.

I am happy to read any articles that you think may help. Researching is keeping me sane!
