anyone know when in your menstrual cycle your TSH would be at your lowest?want to make sure I do my test at a time that shows me at my worst for NHS treatment protocols rather than my best.

If you lower your TSH your doctor will reduce your dose of Levo. Are you sure that is what you want?

If this is really what you want you could lower your dose yourself while continuing to receive your current prescription. Having a GP lower your dose could make it very difficult to get an increase in your dose later if you need one.

This link gives ideas on how to raise TSH. You could just do the opposite of what it suggests :

Ah yeah perfect article thanks! It says middle the cycle is when it is highest. Then usual stuff about biotin and doing test in morning before medicating, interestingly also Vit A which is in my protein shake so might not have that in the run up. Day 10 out of day 28 is when Estrogen is at it's highest and the article says when people are taking estrogen is can elevate TSH so I might do it then. Interesting because day 10-14 is when you feel your best in the cycle but day 14 is slap bang in the middle of a 28 day cycle...I would have thought TSH would have been highest when all your hormones are at their lowest which is towards the end of the cycle....

Oh I meant higher! Sorry 🙈 so they are less likely to lower my dose unnecessarily seeing as this is the only result they look at 😬

🤭😅 I think it's the third day of the cycle but doesn't change too much. When I did mine on third day of my cycle it was 4.1 and on middle of the cycle 4.6. I hope it's helpful x
