I am having thyroid issues. My test tsh 3rd generation was .385Miu. My free t4 was 1.2ng. And my free t3 was 3pg. I occasionally have a rapid heartbeat that wakens me from sleep. Otherwise I feel fine. I also have ulcerative colitis which was out of remission for about 6 months. Have now been in remission for 4-5 months. Also have a hot nodule. Any natural remedies for this?

Can you show the results like this:
Item…….result ……..(range)
For example
TSH. 0.01 miu/L [0.35 - 4.94]
Range is ALWAYS required as lab use different ranges. & the US may use different units to UK.
Do you take carbimazole for the hot\toxic nodule?
There are no natural remedies to successfully & manage long term hyper nodules.
There are a few remedies which people have tried. I will do a separate post about these.

For those that have tried natural remedies and have reported back they have not had continued success either treating hyper or shrinking nodules. The research & articles on the subject report the similar results.
There some evidence a spirulina-curcumin-Boswellia combination can reduce nodules.

I tried boswellia but it has no impact on thyroid levels or size or nodule.
If you are continuously hyper careful management with anti thyroid medication by a professional is the only successful way to stabilise your thyroid levels long term.
I have found a couple a site which suggest some alternative remedies.
stlukes-stl.com/health-cont...
healthline.com/health/hyper...
I disagree with multivitamins which one site suggest as they will often contain least absorbable forms or nutrients which shouldn’t be taken unless deficient eg iron, calcium & iodine.
Don’t add too many supplements in one go. 1 type a fortnight in case you react to any ingredients.
A popular choice for hyperthyroid is Lemon balm (eg in a tea) this is reported to have healing and stress relieving properties. It said to help with digestive complaints and aid sleep ie the symptoms not the source of the symptoms.
I and others say Acetly L cartinine helpful and enhances carbimazole as it reduces FT4:FT3 conversion.
I alternate between bottles of acetyl l-cartinine and l-Cartinine forms. They usually come in 500mg capsules as maximum daily dose over the counter. Some have taken higher (2000mg) doses but that should really be under medical supervision.
I was able to lower my dose of carbimazole.
radio frequency ablation RFA is a procedure to directly treat the hyper nodule. This may be an option. RFA isn’t a widely available option near me but it may be different in your location.
