swollen ankles

hi all,

I've requested my gp to do some blood tests but ot looks like she only did tsh and t4.

I'm on 50/75 levo but since I've received the results, I've upped it to 75 daily

I've been feeling quite unwell before that already and even worse now after 6days of higher dose. My ankles are so swollen! Im currently on holidays walking a lot it's very hot here so I'm drinking plenty . My feet were little swollen, hot, legs very achy already prior to test but now I'm worried. I'm heading back today and going to get another private endo appointment and Medi tests

Is there anyway to help with the swelling?

Please see attached bloods results.

Looks to me like a meds increase will help. I was getting swollen legs/feet from overmedication. Nothing to do except keep them up. Hope it get's better for you soon.

Opposite to Jaydee1507 I found swollen ankles were from under medication. I also find they swell after a dose change and the swelling reduces after a while. To reduce swelling I lay with my feet up a wall. I also found swimming (in coldish water) helped. All exercise helps as it gets the lymph moving. Yours may be swollen after walking a lot in the heat but it could be that they would be even worse if you were not walking.

They were getting swollen before I've changed the course already. The heart is definitely not helping. I also last with my feet up but they throbbing all the time. I just made i booking with private gp when i land in the uk later tonight as this is much wise than one ever experienced. I've had tsh higher in the past and didn't suffer so much. I also had the bigger dose change once and this didn't affect my legs. I'm bit worried now as I'm feeling quite bad. Thank you for your time
