fat feet

Goodmorning. Approximately 8years ago I had an operation on both feet to remove fatty pockets from both ankles . I've since developed similar looking things around my ankle at the side and the side of my foot. These lumps appear in the same place on both feet and are the same size. I would be grateful for any advice to help me solve the issue. I've been taking water retention tablets for the last 3months also.

Are you diagnosed as having a thyroid problem?

If yes, Can you add a little more info on treatment so far, dose , brand and vitamin supplements etc

Did you mean to post on a forum for patients with a thyroid condition?

We are not medically trained, just patients with a thyroid problem, therefore we can't give you any advice on what to do about your "fat feet".

As you've had this problem before, resulting in surgery to address it, it seems the best thing that you can do is take this up again with your GP as it may (or may not) be the same problem. If not then further investigation will be needed. If they are again fatty pockets I'm struggling to see what taking diuretics is going to do to help.
