I’m doing a 4 point saliva cortisol test this week sometime and wondered if I need to stop biotin or anything else in prep. Any help appreciated.

Saliva Cortisol Test - do I need to stop biotin?
I would say yes, you should. Labs don't announce publicly that their testing machines and/or testing protocols are affected by biotin because they consider this to be "proprietary information", so I think you should suspect the worst and give biotin up for a few days before testing.
Other than that I would suggest that you keep taking any hormones, medicines and supplements that you take regularly. The idea is to test your cortisol levels under normal stresses and strains.

Who are you doing the test with, hopefully Regenerus or Genova Diagnostics and not the useless Medichecks test.
If it's Regenerus (who use Labrix for the test) then this old post asked the same question:

However, to be sure I'd contact the company who supplied your test.
As for "anything else" have you read the instruction leaflet. The Regenerus leaflet is quite clear on what you need to do.
Hi SeasideSusie - it the regenerus 4 point + DHEA test. I did this test a couple of years ago and it seemed to accurately reflect how I felt. Yes, they give clear guidance but I just wondered about biotin as they don't mention it. I'll stop for a week before I test just to cover all bases. Thank you.
