Weebella If you look at that link again that Radd gave you, when you click on 'Order Now', you will see

"It is not possible to order Genova test kits on-line. Please call or email Genova Diagnostics Kit Department if you require any of these tests. T: 020 8336 7763 or [e-mail]".

I've just heard that Genova are increasing some of their prices a bit, not sure which tests or by how much, hopefully you'll get yours for £77.

You should get an email back within about 24 hours telling you they will get the kit to you as soon as possible.

Follow the instructions exactly, don't cheat on the timings.

Fill in the form and either give your credit card details on the form or send a cheque.

Make sure you freeze your saliva samples.

Pack everything up in the envelope provided and either use "Royal Mail Guaranteed by 1pm" service (total cost about £7) or use the courier service they give details of (I think that is £12).

When you've sent your samples off go to this page on ThyroidUK's main website and fill in this form:

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/forms/... and submit.

You should get an email back from someone at ThyroidUK telling you they will send your results to you by email when they receive them.

Can take up to two weeks normally.

You should receive an acknowledgement maybe later today or Monday and the kit should arrive early next week. I've done this test two or three times so if you're unsure about anything just yell.

They got back but they didn't mention how to pay for it so il have to wait and see , when they get back to me again 😊

No, they don't mention payment in the email. When your kit arrives, there is a form you have to fill on (if I remember all this correctly) and there's a payment section and you tick which method of payment. If you pay by credit card you fill in your card details. I don't like the idea of my card details being sent like that, just in case it goes astray but that's unlikely as it goes by special delivery or courier so is signed for the other end. I just tick cheque and include a cheque with the form.

Susie I just got test kit and there is no price on it..... it says if no price is on form they will take appropriate amount of if credit card!!!!!! I'm not prepared to just give my card without knowing how much.

No, they don't put prices on as far as I know. But if you copied the email I gave you then you said

"I understand the cost of the test for Thyroid UK is £77."

They haven't come back to you and said that price is incorrect.

This is one reason I won't pay by credit card, you don't know how much they will take, and is why I always send a cheque when returning my samples.

If you have a cheque book then send a cheque. If you have to pay by card and are worried, contact them and ask how much they will be taking (probably best by email so you have a record of it) and then check your credit card statement to ensure they've taken the agreed amount.

Just include a cheque for £77 and tick cheque on the form where it mentions type of payment.

You've already mentioned in your first email that you understand the cost to be £77, they have not disputed that, there's no need for any further communication regarding the cost.

It's possible they don't put the cost on the form because the use of their courier service is optional so they can't put a total price. Just send £77 and leave it at that.
