Aches in elbows and heels

I’m just wondering if anyone knows why I would have had aching elbows for the past few months? I tend to put up with things for a long time before doing anything about it! I realised today that I wake up with pains in my elbows, the insides not the actual bone and it hurts ( a bit! ) to lift even a cup of tea. Also when I first get out of bed, my heels feel stiff. I often have aching wrists and have lost strength in them.

Is it just my age, 64. Or am I just weird? Or is it to do with my under active thyroid?

A few years ago when I got out of bed my ankles were so stiff I walked a bit like a penguin before they "loosened" up. I discovered I had severe Vit D deficiency and this can cause muscle and joint aches and pains. I'd check your Vit D if it hasn't been done recently.

So you presumably have stopped multivitamin and now adding a daily vitamin B complex

And increasing vitamin D supplement and adding magnesium supplement if not already taking

Retest vitamin levels and thyroid in 2-3 month
