Liothyronine in liquid form

Hi, I was wondering whether anyone has used this? My daughter is in Italy at the moment and has visited a pharmacy looking for T3. They say they only do it in liquid form. I have tried to research this - dosage, use etc but can't find very much about its general use. Any advice would be very welcome! Thank you again for this great site!

Perhaps they meant liquid levothyroxine?

I suspect far more likely it is Liotir - a liothyronine solution. Unlike the levothyroxine oral solutions, it is based on ethanol (alcohol) which would be unsuitable for some.

I think there are five different packages/strengths.
