I received a reply from the company that appeared to be administrators for Mercury Pharma.

I believe that there is a confusion as to appointment of TMF. We are appointed as company secretary for these companies, not administrators, for provision of corporate secretarial and compliance services, and our appointment has nothing to do with the companies going into administration.

The companies are in good standing from the corporate perspective. If you have any concerns regarding continuation of services provided by Mercury Pharma, I recommend you to reach out to the companies directly, using the same channels you used for communicating with them previously. We are unable to comment on any business or operational side of the business.

Hmm, I'm not going to even try to get my head around it all, but something very dodgy is going on here that's for sure.

For some reason Helvella this reminds me of RLC when thyroid patients reached out to them about Nature-Throid. Sounds very familiar. They claim to always be on the patients side and wellbeing. I think we have been down this road before.

Does anyone have an update on this ? My pharmacy has offered me an alternative Levothyroxine but I’m stable on Mercury and would much prefer to stick with it. Are they going under?

Afraid I have no more understanding of the situation than it says above.

They supply a lot of other medicines - not just thyroid hormones. Therefore, if they did go under, there would be major fallout. For that reason, I would expect some sort of a plan to be in place - not just here today, gone tomorrow.
