Fed up
"anaemia at level 6" If this is your Ferritin level?
Can't help with the anti-histamine I'm sorry.
Haemoglobin xx
I don't think I've heard of 'anaemia at level XX' before, and I'm so sorry that you are feeling so rubbish and are having to wait for the testing. The waiting is just horrid.
Don't beat yourself up (I know, easier said than done) . I'm sure every mum has felt like you do at various points. I know I have ............... still do sometimes. My daughter is 34yrs now, and what she remembers are the times when we went to the coast for weekends/birthdays etc
I'm curious...what is your Hb, that puts you at level 6, if you don't mind me asking?
Have they referred you to haematology?? They need to investigate. Confirm with them exactly what is 6 and range.
Emmamc1719,
Welcome to our forum,
Any form of anaemia with be effecting how well thyroid hormones are working. As you are waiting for an ultra sound have you been diagnosed with Hashimotos? Are you medicating Levothyroxine?
We can have great labs (ie enough thyroid hormone in our blood stream) but still remain hypothyroid on a cellular level if certain cofactors aren’t met that include iron, Vit B12 & folate. What type of anaemia do you have? What is this 'level 6' you refer to?
Post any recent results complete with ranges (numbers in brackets) for members to comment.
I use flonase daily for allergies, can’t live without it.
